Porkchop is a lovable boy with the squishiest head! Unfortunately, this poor lad has been at the shelter for 74 days and counting....He is now one of the longest residents and he needs help!!! Maybe it's because his kennel presence is to lay and watch people pass with his serious face on. Maybe it's because he's a little bit shy? Whatever the case may be, once Porkchop is out of his kennel, he really opens up and starts to shine! Once Porkchop feels comfortable he is an absolute lovebug. Porkchop has the most adorable smile and had a blast showing off his zoomies in the play yard. He participates in shelter playgroups with playful dogs and we suspect he would be ok with mannerly children. Porkchop is a fabulous boy but he needs help busting out of these shelter walls!! Can anyone help this sweet, squishy boy?

Stavo has quite the exuberant spirit; he's full of life and ready to greet all he meets. He might be on the smaller side, but he's mighty in personality. His hugs feel like a giant warm bear. He's got a lot of energy for a Bulldog and would love a big yard to run around in. He loves tennis balls and it's an easy way to make him happy. Come and meet dynamic Stavo!

MEET LIONEL!

LIONEL IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

PERSONALITY TRAITS
Lionel arrived at the Animal Care Facility shut down and afraid of humans. Lionel went into foster where he has been slowly learning to trust and believe he is safe. Lionel will need lifelong trust building rehabilitation with all new humans he meets. Gentle voices and kind hands are a must. Lionel will run away and not allow petting when out in an open space. He prefers to stay in his crate but has the door open for all the freedom he wants at his own pace. He loves toys and frozen PB KONGS. He is very sweet. He is short and stocky, weighing approx. 50lbs.

We can only speculate on his past, but what we do know is that humans were not kind to him and hurt him physically and emotionally.

MEET KODA!

KODA IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

PERSONALITY TRAITS
Koda is approximately 8 years old. Koda does excellent on car rides, but I can’t promise he won’t drool a little on your seats. Just be careful as you open the car door once you’ve reached your destination because he’s a runner. The same goes with front doors of your house.
If you have to leave, he will wait patiently by the window for your return… or he’ll just lay on his bed. He does not do well with any kind of kennel or crate. He will do everything in his power to get out, including hurt himself. If he’s going to be left alone, it’s recommended that a tv or music is left on to help drown out any outside noise from neighbors that could potentially stress him out.
On paper it might say he’s on the older side, but you’d never know it by meeting him. He has a lot of energy left, but he’s mature enough to have manners. He will play tug-o-war until YOU get tired and he will go on walks for hours. He walks well on a leash and doesn’t pull… unless there is a cat.
He’s a team player and loves to play dress up. He enjoys putting on hats, sunglasses, hoodies, and a winter jacket. The only thing he wasn’t a fan of were the snow shoes, but he got use to them quickly. When the older kids were still living at home, I lost count of the selfies they took with him wearing hats. Sometimes he would even wimper when they took it off.
Koda in a nutshell… he’s a well balanced dog. He will be active when you want to be active and he’ll be chill when you want to be chill. I recommend he be the only animal in the house. He doesn’t do well with cats. Period. Other dogs aren’t impossible, but he’s pretty picky about who he likes. He has been around children of all ages, including infants, and has done excellent with them all. Toddlers seem to be his favorite because his true “nanny dog” side comes out. Koda does not rough house, in fact, we often call him the fun sucker because he will stand in between people if they’re rough housing.
