INTAKE POLICY

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THIS RESCUE REQUESTING THE RESCUE ACCEPT YOUR DOG, PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE FOR YOUR DOG, OR BOARDING OR TRAINING FOR YOUR DOG.

This rescue ONLY accepts dogs from shelters that are kennel stressed or have run out of time. There are NO exceptions. If you need to re-home your dog please read here. If you have found a dog, please take the dog to your local shelter and file a "found" report.

The rescue volunteers work hand in hand with shelters & humane societies to save dogs with severe kennel stress, medical conditions and those that have run out of time. The numbers are ENDLESS.

BULLY BREED AMBASSADORS

All of our breed ambassadors have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and micro chipped. A certified dog trainer is available to assist adopters and foster parents with training questions or behavior problems. Once your application is approved you may meet the dogs at the BBBR Animal Care Facility or in a foster home.

ACCEPTING SHELTER DOGS

Boise Bully Breed Rescue, Boise Black Dog Rescue and Boxer Rescue of Boise accept dogs from shelters that are kennel stressed or have run out of time in the shelter. The dog Intake Form (Animal Care Facility Intake Form) must be filled out by the designated shelter representative and submitted to BBBR prior to acceptance of the dog. Pictures of the dog and a video link (preferably a You Tube video) accessible by email of the dogs interacting with dogs and humans must be submitted. Copies of health records and transfer paperwork must be e-mailed to thepittyranch@gmail.com prior to confirming transportation of the dog. Shelter adoption and transfer fees will not be paid by BBBR. The transferring shelter shall assume liability of the dog during transportation.

OWNER SURRENDER & STRAYS

THE RESCUE DOES NOT ACCEPT OWNER SURRENDERS OR STRAYS. THE RESCUE ONLY WORKS WITH SHELTERS AND ONLY ACCEPTS DOGS FROM SHELTERS.

Boise Bully Breed Rescue and its extension programs Boxer Rescue of Boise and Boise Black Dog Rescue accept Bully Type Breed dogs, as well as black dogs of any breed, FROM SHELTERS ONLY. Please refer to the tips on re-homing your dog. The rescue wishes you the very best at locating a safe, loving and secure home for your dog.
